Amazon Alexa, All You Need Is A Voice

Amazon Alexa’s virtual assistant software applications, for smart phones, tablets, wireless smart speakers, and other electronic appliances, were largely developed by using the technological wherewithal of British computer scientist William Tunstall-Pedo’s, and Polish software developers Lukasz Osowski and Michal Kaszczuk’s, text-to-speech technologies.

Commenting on the impressively produced dramatisation of the Amazon ‘Pompeii’ commercial, Executive Creative Director Shelley Smoler observed that in the daily realities of family life, home schooling is a very challenging activity for busy parents to manage conscientiously.

“With Alexa you can access the entire canon of human knowledge with the power of your voice. Alexa enables you to control things and be transported to places as if by magic, making you feel as though the world is simply waiting patiently for your command.”

“Alexa is like your own personal genie in a box”.

Inspirationally based on the simple, human truth, that one doesn’t always fully appreciate the service one has on hand, until it’s no longer available, Lucky Generals advertising agency’s 2018, Amazon Alexa Super Bowl film-scenario, of Alexa losing her voice, plays out to a soundtrack of Carly Simon’s Bond theme. “Nobody Does It Better”.

Directed by celebrated filmmaker, Wayne McClammy, and featuring celebrities such as Cardi B, Gordon Ramsay, Rebel Wilson, and Anthony Hopkins, the commercial amusingly highlights the indispensable nature of Alexa’s actual voice, by demonstrating, that even though celebrity utterances are undoubtably entertaining, nobody ‘cuts it’ as eruditely as Alexa.
