Masterly directed by filmmaker Ruban Fleischer, 180 Amsterdam advertising agency’s, epic ‘Future of Play’ film-scenario, involving 200 extras, is part of PlayStation’s ‘For The Gamers’ campaign.

The very watchable, time-travel commercial, of a Viking assault, is a amusing parody of the two worlds ‘gamers’ straddle; the one they physically occupy, and the other imaginary one they spend hours of their time delving into with fellow compatriot cyberspace travellers.

For a new PlayStation ‘Play Has No Limits’ advertising theme commercial, advertising agency Six, and Sony Interactive Entertainment, teamed up with King Gnu, a four-piece, ‘Tokyo New Mixture Style’, rock band.

Masterly directed by filmmaker Sojiro Kamatani, the commercial casts the four members of King Gnu, as PlayStation controller face buttons.

Yu Seki as control button ‘Triangle’, Daiki Tsuneta as ‘Circle’, Kazuki Arai  as ‘X’, and Satoru Iguchi, as control button ‘Square’.

The four ‘controllers’ join forces to break the boundaries of their play buttons, to become phantasmagorical Giant Gnu characters, of amazing invention and imagination.

The entertaining action, of the superbly produced 2024 Cannes Lions winner, plays out to a soundtrack of  King Gnu’s new song “Asura’”, especially written for PlayStation.

Sony Interactive Entertainment’s epic ‘Play Has No Limits’ commercial, is about elevating game-play experiences to spectacular new heights.

Directed by esteemed filmmaker Francois Rousselet, the imaginatively conceived scenario of two rival kings in a utopian battle, of carefully calculated chess moves for supremacy of a metropolis, has been cinematically been brought to life with storytelling-intrigue, drama, action, and spectacular sets.

The film singles out a ‘Pawn’ in the crowd travelling through the city, that is laid out like a giant chessboard, and follows her strategic ‘chess-move’ actions, that culminate in an entertaining end, to a visually very impressive commercial.

The “Blue Monday” music soundtrack, is by composer and music producer Sebastian Böhm, based in Hamburg, Germany.

The cinematic scenario for PlayStation 5, features a fleet of sailing ships, airships, second world war planes, fighter-jets, and an assortment of spaceships, accompanying a young boatsman on a metaphorical journey to the edge of the world, beyond which is a mystical world of epic airborne wonder and discovery that has no limits.

The superbly produced, visual splendour, of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s ‘The Edge’, that plays out to a soundtrack of the song ‘Baba O’Riley’, a tribute to spiritual leader Meher Baba and musician Terry Riley, by the English Rock Band ‘The Who’, makes for compelling viewing.
